Proposed Rule Change Relating to TRACE Reporting and Dissemination of Transactions in Agency Pass-Through Mortgage-Backed Securities Traded in Specified Pool Transactions and SBA-Backed ABS Transactions
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc. (“FINRA”) is filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC” or “Commission”) a proposed rule change to amend the FINRA Rule 6700 Series and Trade Reporting and Compliance Engine (“TRACE”) dissemination protocols regarding the reporting and dissemination of transactions in TRACE-Eligible Securities that are: (1) Agency Pass-Through Mortgage-Backed Securities traded in Specified Pool Transactions (“MBS Specified Pool transactions”) and (2) Asset-Backed Securities backed by loans guaranteed as to principal and interest by the Small Business Administration (“SBA-Backed ABS”) and traded either in Specified Pool Transactions or to be announced (“TBA”) (collectively, “SBA-Backed ABS transactions”).
