Proposed Rule Change to Amend FINRA Rule 9251 (Inspection and Copying of Documents in Possession of Staff)

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc. (“FINRA”) is filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC” or “Commission”) a proposed rule change to amend FINRA Rule 9251 to explicitly protect from discovery those documents that are prohibited from disclosure by federal law.
