Proposed Rule Change to Adopt FINRA Rule 2211 (Communications with the Public About Variable Insurance Products)
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc. (“FINRA”) (f/k/a National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. (“NASD”)) is filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC” or “Commission”) a proposed rule change to adopt FINRA Rule 2211 (Communications with the Public About Variable Insurance Products) as a replacement for NASD Interpretive Material 2210-2 (Communications with the Public About Variable Life Insurance and Variable Annuities), which would be deleted.
