I appreciate the opportunity to comment on this issue. The premise behind the day trading rule is based on protecting the investor, but this limits a lot of small investors from learning the trade. Let's be honest here, there's a lot of "day traders" who aren't successful because they are gambling. Well, at least with the stock market, people are able to make educated decisions based on the fundamentals of a corporation. Draftkings, FanDuel, Fantatics and all of the other legal gambling that's becoming more and more standard across the nation is putting literally casinos in our hands at all time. If people want to gamble they're going to find a way. I'd be more concerned about the huge bailouts that went to investment banks when they were selling junk mortgage backed securities than preventing an American from investing the money their worked hard for to try and earn a better life. The market is the best and most legitimate path to financial security in this country. Put regulations on the large investors, not the small ones. Thanks for your consideration.
