Bharath Kandasamy Comment On Regulatory Notice 24-13
Bharath Kandasamy
I have traded in Indian stock market for over 5 years, where there is no PDT restrictions such as in US.
I have traded in US stock market for over 6 years and the PDT rule has never helped me growing my account. I trade based on technical analysis on a 15m range. Due to PDT rule, I can't exit a profitable position but only to end up with losing money on the position the next day. It doesn't make sense to stipulate such a PDT rule to force a trader to lose money, when the trader doesn't have $25k in the account or force me to a cash account to only trade once a day with the capital that I have. Please consider lifting the PDT rule to allow traders like me to benefit from the market swings rather forcing me losing a profitable trade due to such a PDT rule.
