Y2K Testing Not Required For Legacy CRD And PC FOCUS

Due to the availability of the new Web Central Registration Depository (CRD^SM) system and Web-Based FOCUS filing system, the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. (NASD^®) does not require Year 2000 testing of their predecessor systems - Legacy CRD and PC FOCUS^SM. The new systems - Web CRD and Web-Based FOCUS - have successfully completed Year 2000 testing.

If your firm uses the EFT functions of Legacy CRD and wishes to voluntarily conduct Year 2000 date testing, the NASD will accommodate your request. Contact the Year 2000 Program Office at (888) 227-1330 to arrange testing.
