I don't see why FINRA has to raise the threshold to day trade. Whatever funds I have available to trade with are mine and mine alone to do with. If my broker want to take precautions to ensure they don't encurs losses. That's between them and I. FINRA should never lowering the minimum amount required to day trade to $10K or less. This would make it for favorable to everyone to enter the market and make an attempt at earning a decent living.
