I strongly believe that we investors, rather than regulators, should be able to choose the public investment options that are right for us and our family. And all kinds of public investments should be available to all the investors, not just the privileged ones. USA is a democratic country, which ensures equal investment opportunities and rights for all investors.
Various kinds of popular funds in general, and leveraged and inverse funds in particular, are very important investment options to my investment strategies. With Leveraged and inverse funds, I can hedge against the investment risks when the market encounters a downturn, esp. a sharp one, and, wth their help, I can obtain enhanced returns when the market turns up, esp. turns up sharply.
In my way of thinking, any restrictive steps FINRA might take on the access to leveraged funds, inverse funds, and other popular funds by the ordinary investors, such as requiring pre-teats or broker's approval for investors to gain access to popular leveraged and inverse funds, will be detrimental to them, and potentially undermine the principle of equal investment rights for all investors.
Thanks very much for your attention to my humble opinion.
