Hello FINRA,
I oppose the proposed restrictions on my rights to invest. While I appreciate your concern for the safety of my investments, I am fully aware of the risks involved when purchasing leveraged or inverse funds.
Leverage is a useful financial tool used by almost every financial institute in America, and I don't see any reason why I should be barred from using it.
Leverage can be a powerful tool to offset your larger non-leveraged investments or enhance your returns significantly during a recovery period. I'd hate to have those options removed because you believe I'm not capable of using leverage responsibly.
When I purchased leveraged funds through my broker, I believe I already accepted a notice approving that I understand the risks of leveraged funds, and I was being truthful. Please don't take away my right to invest.
