I am strongly opposed to restrictions on leveraged and inverse funds. Please take into consideration:
Nobody is forcing these investments on anyone, they are willingly chosen by investors, like myself. Restricting access to these funds is an overstep by regulators.
Leveraged and inverse funds are not complex, if someone doesn't understand them, they can easily learn how the funds work. And if they still don't understand, they probably shouldn't invest, just as any other investment. These products might not be appropriate for everyone, but it is not for regulators to decide that.
These funds are important to my investing strategy and goals.
