I invest in leveraged ETFs and have done so since at least 2015. I understand they are complex and, as a non-professional investor, I understand do not fully understand them. However, I do understand the single most important factor about leveraged ETFs: I am at risk of losing money (and at greater risk versus non-leveraged ETFs). That point is not complex and is not difficult to understand. Further, it is true of any stock market investment. So, even though I do not fully understand the leveraged ETFs I invest in, I think the investment is still a rational because I understand the risk, I am comfortable taking that risk and I manage the risk through other decisions/choices. Taking this risk is a personal decision and should not be regulated. At most, I submit that you may require a disclosure to highlight that risk. But, please do not limit restrict or take away my ability to invest in leveraged ETFs. Thank you.
