Private investors should have the right to choose to invest in funds that are a good fit for their investment objectives. It is unfair to eliminate the ability to invest in leveraged funds for the investing public, especially since many of these funds have a proven track record of protecting investment portfolios when used the right way.
If an investor chooses to be irresponsible, it does not matter if they invest in a leveraged fund or unleveraged fund - they will find a way to lose money.
Even though you are a private entity, you are responsible for maintaining a fair and equitable marketplace for investment funds to the general public. Please take a sensible approach to governing instead enacting what is effectively a heavy handed, draconian ban on leveraged funds for the investing public.
