Regulators should not be able to choose the public investments in which I may invest. Publicly-traded investments should be available to all of the public.
I should not have to go through any special process[es] before I can invest in public securities like leveraged and inverse funds. I am fully capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. I do not need any restrictive measures imposed upon me.
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my managing my investment portfolio. Leveraged and inverse funds are a limited portion of my overall portfolio, and I use them to hedge other securities in my portfolio.
