As a daily active equity trader, I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. I believe public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
As long as I can read the disclosures specifically from such investment vehicles, I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before I can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. I am fully capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. People should take responsibility for their own action, like I am taking full responsibility for my own decision/choice related to my investment/trading.
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment/ trading strategies. Not only they help me protect (hedge) my investments but also help me enhance the investment returns. When using it appropriately and as they were intended, these leveraged/inverse ETF help me to achieve my financial goals.
