I am writing because I oppose the restrictions being sought on my right to invest or anyone's right to invest in any public investment funds as they are intended to be public. These funds should remain available to the public and not made restricted to the privileged. It is not difficult to understand public investment funds and their risks, such as with leveraged funds and inverse funds. Even a high school graduate can understand these types of funds and their risks if they choose to. I'm way past high school graduate and should not have to seek approval to invest in these types of funds, including taking a test. These funds are an important part of my investment strategy and they help hedge my portfolio against unexpected market movements. Without the ability to invest in these types of funds, it leaves me exposed to market movement risk instead of protecting me. Please help protect me and the public by not restricting access to public investment funds. Thank you!
