I not regulators should be able to choose the public
investments that are right for me. Public investments, including leveraged funds should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
I shouldn't have to go through any special process
like passing a test before you can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. I should not be paying regulator restricted money making companies any of extra money to be able to invest in funds I deem appropriate to invest.
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my
investment strategies. I utilize those funds to leverage without the need to take a separate high interest loans to buy high value cheap stocks, and beaten down indexes as a limited part of my portfolio. There should be no restriction on my portfolio more than paying a person person passing an exam qualified by Regulator like FINRA. This seems to me against my right for a regulator to device exams, making it a business, for people, and limit general publics rights to make that business viable, all controlled by FINRA.
