I protest implementing any proposal to limit my trading in leveraged or inverse ETFs. I feel it is my right to invest my money wherever I feel I might get a positive return, especially during what I perceive as periods of equity or commodity ETF downturns. My only other choice during those periods would be to stay out of investments altogether and only earn inadequate interest rate returns. I do not see any intrinsic difference between purchasing a leveraged or inverse ETF and purchasing Puts and Calls, especially Puts, which are investments in downturns. Passing this proposal would severely limit my investment flexibility. I should not be restricted from legitimately investing my own money where I see fit.
