Salvatore Cioffalo Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

This attempt at limiting my ability to invest and trade is outrageous. This is regulatory over reach that assumes we are unable to make our own informed decisions about our investment portfolios. Please consider that my family and I should be able to choose unfettered, which investments are best for us. We should not be burdened with a special and arbitrary process. Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment process and objectives. We are quite capable understanding their risks and benefits. We dedicate portions of our portfolio to leveraged funds to increase returns during periods of extremely low interest rates and very high equity valuations. We utilize inverse funds for short periods of time to hedge the impact on our portfolio during periods of market corrections and when debt investments are even riskier due to the Federal Reserve actions that raise interest rates and exacerbate poor market conditions, which is happening as I write this. Please halt this Regulatory overreach and attempt to limit my freedom to invest wisely.
