Dear FINRA,
Please do not remove my right to purchase leveraged ETFs. The general public should not be required to have special privileges to have access to these financial instruments. Although these are complex trading instruments, they pose no more risk than many other securities that already available to retail investors.
Regulations should not be made to 2X funds, especially those that are tied to broad based indexes like the S&P 500. Investors like myself understand the risks that are involved, just as we should understand the risk of making any trades in individual companies. These ETFs should be treated no different.
I would be willing to sign an agreement idicating that I understand the risks involved before making a purchase but I refuse to have my right to purchase these funds removed entirely. Thank you for your time.
