It is very distributing to hear that the government is attempting to curtail the use of investments, specifically Inverse and Leveraged Funds. While I totally understand that these products are complex and not designed for everyone, I believe that a large majority of investors would opt out of these type of investments if they were properly notified. Widespread government intrusion into this investment area is not welcome and I strongly believe that Regulators should aim their efforts toward manipulated products such as precious metals and commodities.
