As a retail investor and trader, I protest FINRA's consideration to either limit of remove the option of purchasing leveraged and inverse ETFs. This action limits opportunities for retail traders and investors to use these instruments for hedging purposes. Since this is my money at risk and not the general public's I feel I have the understanding and competency in choosing where I wish to place my money for investing purposes. Retail investments and trading activities do not create systemic risk unlike the mega institutions. Requiring any sort of tests or exams represents undue interference by FINRA in these legitimate investment and trading instruments. I hope FINRA will reconsider this adverse action and allow fair access to these instruments that suit our investment goals. Thank you.
