The problem with regulators is that they think most people are stupid and need to be protected from themselves. This is an entirely false premise and people should be free to decide and invest based upon their own needs, requirements and independent research. Investment is an individual decision and should not be subject to governmental oversite or permission. America is still a free country which embraces individual freedom above all else and hopefully will remain that way. Government has no place in deciding what or how an individual can invest his own money.
