My comment is in response to FINRA Regulatory Notice #22-08. As an investor, I believe we should be able to decide and choose the public investment options that are right for me and my family. I am capable of understanding how the leveraged and inverse funds work without having to go through a special process to utilize them.
I have been using leveraged funds since 2012 and they have tremendously helped me in my investing strategy. Furthermore, I learned that leveraged funds are a safer investment choice than owning individual stocks because they are diversified and they are able to avoid the perils of individual company's risk. In addition, these funds can also be used to hedge risk during a market correction like we are experiencing now. I use these funds as a limited part of my overall portfolio and they have proved to be immensely helpful.
