I wish to express my opposition to considerations by FINRA to restrict rights to invest in leveraged and/or inverse funds and other investments considered to be "complex".
With over 30 years of investing experience and formal credentialing (CFP), I consider myself fully capable of understanding the risks of investing in such funds.
Leveraged and inverse funds are an extremely important element of my personal investing strategy. Rather than a risk, these investments provide me a critical tool to REDUCE my risk to market volatility.
I appreciate your consideration of my comments in any upcoming proposals to restrict access to investment in leveraged and inverse funds.
