Peter Frederiksen Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

To the FINRA regulators:
Please understand how the ability of the general public to invest in levered and inverse funds is of great importance. These are easily comprehended investment choices which can help anyone, including less savvy investors, achieve investment goals, not least in bear markets, or in inflationary times, when such funds may be the only available options to hedge and beat the odds imposed by inflation, taxation and high interest rates. There are already significant warnings given to prospective investors by brokerage firms and in prospectuses about the associated risks - you do NOT need to nanny the investors any more than that. The very notion that common people need your protection from themselves is a sad misunderstanding. Please do NOT impose further restrictions and regulations on our ability to hedge our investments and improve our returns in adverse times.
