I have just learned from my brokers communication that FINRA is seeking public comments on restricting investors from buying a broad range of public securities designated as "complex products". I am an investor to handle my retirement accounts. It is very important for me to use as many tools as possible to protect my investments including inverse funds instruments for and during a down market. I fully aware of the risks involved if those tools are not used wisely. However, it is my right to pick a investment tool and not the regulators to decide for me and my family. I do not agree to get a special approval from my broker nor to have to pass a regulator-imposed test of specialized investment knowledge. It will deny my freedom to choose investments to achieve my financial security for my family.
Please listen to our private investor voices. Do not take away our freedom to choose our right investment tools.
Thank you for listening.
