The FINRA is a non-governmental agency designed to insure Brokers are acting in good faith to all their clients. It is not a governmental agency their to regulate the clients! And if you were a government agency attempting such a non-ethical proposal I would feel the same as I do with this agency. You are not their to protect client interests regarding investing. You are their to enforce the regulations set forth for Brokers and the Stock Exchange! That is what you do. That is all you do. That is what your company was developed to do - Protect clients from bad brokers and the stock exchange from bad faith - etc.
Stay out of my life! You do not have the right to regulate the clients! You know this. You are over stepping your bounds!
You do not have the right to limit the ability of any investor, no matter what the investment, to broaden their horizons and increase their ability to support themselves and their families futures by investing in public securities!
To think clients have no knowledge or the ability to research any investment is ludicrus! There is no one I know who invests without any knowledge about the company, the risks involved and the amount of money they are willing to take a loss with if their investment goes south!
For you to over reach into the client side of investments is out side of your reasons for the developement of FINRA. Get to the business of handling brokers and wall street, not the investors! You have no right to separate me from the elite and privileged in any society! This country is not a dictatorship! If that is what you are attempting to do, forget the rule, we the people should have you shut down! You are in violation of my rights. If you want to live in a class society - get out of America! There are plenty of countries around the world that have such class structures, the USA ids not one of them and we will not stand for it!
I adamantly disagree with the FINRA Proposal Rule #22-08.
