I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged. Besides, I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before I can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. I'm capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. Moreover, these leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies because I these leveraged inverse funds can use the same concept as leveraged products and aim to deliver a magnified returns to my investments. Even if I have a risky amount of exposure to a certain index, sector, or region I can buy an inverse ETF to help hedge the exposure.
