First off, the amount of corruption in today's market is unbelievable. To see FINRA, an organization that is supposed to protect the integrity of the market; come out with baseless claims to try and keep the public from arguably the safest investment opportunities the market has to offer, definitely seems as if there's an agenda that's not in the best interest of the American people.
Is any government entity ever going to stand up for the backbone of this country? Retail investors are getting crushed in todays market and yet nothing is being done about the entities bringing America down. For the sake of America's future/economy, FINRA top priority should be getting rid of Dark pools and cracking down on Hedgefunds overborrowing and failing to deliver, for starters.
With regard to leverage and inverse ETF's, I'm fully aware on how to trade them. I'm sure most everyone that chooses such investments does as well. They're not hard understand and are considerably safer than stocks, where there seems to be no end to manipulation.
They're the core of my investment strategy and is how I protect myself from market manipulation. My retirement plan and family's future depend on these investment opportunities. They should be available to everyone, not just the privileged.
Please, for the sake of America's future; don't restrict these investment opportunities. I can't emphasize this enough, they're arguably the safest investment options available in todays market. Restricting these would go against FINRA objective of promoting a safe market environment to ensure the public can invest with confidence and essentially leave the public with no safe guards to fend against market manipulators.
You have a responsibility to protect the people from the corruption, please don't choose to add to the corruption.
