I, not regulators, should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before you can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. Do not assume the intelligence of investors and underestimate the capability of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. No measures should be imposed on investors That's an act of discrimination.
Leveraged and inverse products are important parts of the financial system. They are important to our investment strategies that help to protect (hedge) our investments or seek enhanced returns when using them as a limited part of your overall portfolio.
Blocking general public on basic human right to invest rather than educating investors, providing better resources and financial system is a disgrace to the society and civilization. It is also a waste of resources and taxpayer money to propose non-sense rules and regulations.
I oppose restrictions to my right to invest! Please stop imposing regulations on "complex products" such stop general public have the right to choose their own investments.
