It is me as a US Citizen and individual investor - not regulators who should be able to choose the public
investments that are right for you and your family.
Public investments should be available to all of the public,
not just the privileged.
We investors shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before you can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. We are fully capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds
and their risks. As an investor, I admonish the regulators not to impose these measures on me or us the investor community.
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies. I/we use them selectively help me/us protect (hedge) your investments or seek enhanced returns. I/we use them as a limited part of our overall portfolio.
There are several major fraudsters and privileged investors on Wall Street and at Private Equity firms who have multiple investment vehicles that you regulators ought to spend your time looking into to impose legitimate restrictions on their investments.
Instead, you tax-paid goverment officials waste our tax-payer salary on imposing unnecessary restrictions on honest tax-paying citizens and investors like me/us to limit our instruments of wealth creation.
I sincerely suggest you not impose any restrictions on our selecting and investing in leveraged funds and ETFs.
