Nancy Harrington-Carlson Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I, not the regulators, should be able to choose the public
investments that are right for me and my family.
Public investments should be available to all of the
public, not just the privileged.

I should not have to go through any "special process" like passing a test before I can invest my own money in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. I understand these funds and their risk. I do not need or want regulators imposing these "special process" measures on me. Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategy. They help me protect my investments and they are a limited part of my overall portfolio. I have been investing for about 40 years now and have a comfortable retirement because of my ability to manage my own funds.
