Michael McGowan Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I, not regulators, should be able to choose the investments that are right for me. Investments should be available to all of the public, not just the elite.

I shouldnt have to go through special processes, like passing a test before I can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks.

Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies, especially in tax sheltered accounts, where these are the only options for placing a hedge to protect against downside. I also enjoy the enhanced returns of leveraged funds, as Call or Put options are in many cases too risky, or expensive.
