Michael LaForest Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08
Michael LaForest
N/A
I appreciate groups attempting to look out for the well being of others, however, I should be the only person making a decision on MY investments using the money I have made. No one else made that money for me. Public investments should be available to all of the public and not restricted.
I understand that there may be tests imposed and "guidelines" to be met before future investments can be made with certain avenues. I should not have to take any test before investing my money. This would be discrimination on a group of people that regulators choose. The public is not ignorant on the basics of leveraged or inverse funds.
These investments are extremely important to my investment strategy and any restriction imposed by regulators would be hindering the growth of my portfolio.
