I am writing because I appose the pending regulations restricting who can invest in leveraged and inverse funds and I oppose limitations on your investments. The new rules and regulations are very unfair. These new regulations will deny me the freedom to choose investments that could help you achieve long-term financial security. The new regulations are arbitrary. FINRAs definition of complex products is so broad, arbitrary and vague that it could ensnare a vast number of commonly used public securities. I, not regulators, should have the right and be able to choose the public investments that I feel I want to invest in for my finical growth. Any and all public investments must remain available to all and anyone, to all or the public, not just privileged. I should not have to go through any special process, like passing a test, so I can invest in a public security, like leveraged and inverse funds, I have been investing in this manor for years, and I do not see the need or the point to have these measures imposed on me. I have been investing in leveraged and inverse funds for a number of years and are a very important part of my investment strategies and have made considerable amount of money in the past by using these investments.
