Lynn Middelstadt Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

Dear FINRA Regulators, I AM OPPOSED TO RESTRICTIONS ON MY RIGHT TO INVEST in inverse investments as an individual. It is important that the public at large, and in particular, me and my family, be allowed to invest in inverse ETF's without restriction or further regulatory interference by imposing additional regulations. We, as investors, are in charge of knowing the risks and opportunities of such investments. This is a tool that can be used to balance out an investment portfolio in times of severe volatility. By instituting additional regulation on the small investor, the FINRA would appear to be favoring the large investors who already have much advantage in the market, and would in fact be a discrimination tactic against the small investor. In short, more regulation in this area will only serve to hamper "free and open markets", which I believe is one of FINRA's objectives to promote, (free, fair and open markets) thus being very counter productive, and possibly illegal. I AM NOT IN FAVOR OF ADDITONAL REGULATION in this area, or RESTRICTIONS ON MY RIGHT TO INVEST. Thank you
