Public securities are just that, "Public". And, if crypto related public securities are having special testing/restrictions being placed on the security in advance of the investor choice, this is an undue and illegal method to reduce investor interest or involvement in the related security.
To the SEC: Do not restrict access to investment in cryptocurrencey related securities. What are you or the US afraid of? Do you think this will eventually affect to status of the US Dollar as the now base World currency? And, when affected, would therefore decrease the value of all this Country's Lords and their holdings? Is it possible the World needs a new and all encompassing currency? Go for it.
