Dear Sir, Mdm,
I want to make a clear statement about my need to be able to trade LEVERAGED AND INVERSE FUNDS. I am now able to buy a house, and pay for the education of my two children, thanks to my trading of the last years.
I believe I not regulators should be able to choose the public investments that are right for you and your family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged. Moreover, I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before you can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. I am completely capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks and I do not need these measures imposed on you.
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies. In particular, they they help you protect (hedge) your investments or seek enhanced returns (which I very much need right now since I had to overpay tax this past year).
Finally, I do not think it would be fair or legal to impose restrictions retroactively to those that are already trading leveraged or inverse funds.
