I OPPOSE RESTRICTIONS TO MY RIGHT TO INVEST!!!
Every individual investor, not regulators, should be able to choose the public investments that make sense for them and their families. Furthermore, public investments should be available to ALL of the public, not just the privileged investor.
It is disturbing that more and more regulations are being imposed on everyday citizens of this formerly "free" society!
Investing is a personal freedom here in the United States and those who wish to take advantage of that right, should be free to do so regardless of any superimposed regulations such as passing a test before one can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds.
Anyone who desires to invest in these types of funds is capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks.
These types of funds are important to many investment strategies as they help hedge investments or even help to provide enhanced returns.
Please consider the impact a decision to regulate investments in this way could have on the everyday investor and set an example for future supporters of individual freedom in investing!!
