I am very disappointed how financial regulators are trying to take away power of individual investors to freely invest in public ETFs - leveraged or inversed - which are listed in the public market because they were approved by financial institutions. Yet, the same financial regulators do not place any restrictions on investing "professionals" who short the market or individual stocks without owning a single share for manipulation and their profit. I feel that this move is taking away financial choice of individuals rather than "protecting" us. If a fund is listed in public market, you should let general public freely invest in it. It's disappointing and even disgusting that the financial regulator is treating individual investors as fools who knows nothing about investing into these funds.
