Kenny Hua Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

Regulators - Please do not restrict the ability for the average investor, like myself, to invest in "complex" products. "Complex" products is subjective to everyone and would be disadvantageous to the average investor. I would rather make the decision myself and learn from my mistakes than having regulators dictate what is best for me. For example, anyone of age is able to buy "sin" products (e.g., alcohol, tobacco, etc.) but are NOT there restrictions on the "harder" or "more concentrated" products. Unless I am mistaken, there should be restrictions to choose what we are able to invest in. Regulators, put yourselves in the average investors' shoes and see how it would feel if we were restricted just because of an assumption that the average investor is "uneducated". If this passes, this is the rich and privileged gaining and exponentially increasing the gap between the average person, like myself.
