It is unlawful to restrict the general public from investing in leveraged or inverse funds. These funds, like most equities, carry risk of losing all principal and this is something all investors and traders are aware of with a simple acknowledgement on a disclosure. We should not have to demonstrate additional minimum qualifications to invest in these vehicles nor should they be restricted to institutional investors. I have been using these funds for nearly a decade and should have the right to continue that without meeting new requirements. These funds are critical to my success as an investor and the financial future of my family.
