These funds, like most equities, carry risk of losing all principal and this is something all investors and traders are aware of with a simple acknowledgement on a disclosure. We should not have to demonstrate additional minimum qualifications to invest in these vehicles nor should they be restricted to institutional investors. I have been using these funds for nearly a decade and should have the right to continue that without meeting new requirements.
