I take the time to write to you today in order to protest against the proposed regulations outlined in Regulatory Notice #22-08.
It is not the government's place to tell me what investments I can and cannot make. As an investor, it is my responsibility to understand the products I am purchasing.
I see this as a clear and blatant attempt at limiting the "retail investors" access to advanced financial products. I cannot voice my opposition to Regulatory Notice #22-08 loudly enough. You are harming those whom it is your job to protect.
It is completely unacceptable that FINRA is overreaching the way it is with #22-08. I, as a taxpayer, demand that you do not follow through with this.
