I strongly opposed restrictions on my right to invest in cryptocurrency funds. I understand the concern you may have in protecting people from themselves however you are impeding a fundamental right for individuals which is the right to financial self-determination. To impose restrictions is paternalistic and does not respect the ethical right for individuals to make choices about where and how they invest. Furthermore, by only offering these investments to high net worth individuals you amplify the inequities already experienced by low socioeconomic individuals. The paternalistic approach also implied that people are too financially illiterate to make decisions for themselves. Perhaps you could recommend specific educational materials in plain language and at appropriate literacy levels to help people to inform themselves before they make those decisions.
