Johnnie Johnson Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

N/A
I understand regulations are considered which propose to limit my ability to invest in certain "complex" investments.
I don't think it is necessary or appropriate for some government regulator to presume to make my investment risk decisions for me. That goes beyond the bounds of the government to "protect " its people. The citizen must have the right and the freedom to make his or her own risk assessment and decisions, even if those decisions occasionally result in losses. Measured risk analysis is an integral part of investing, and that evaluation MUST remain the final decision of the investor, not an outside regulator.
