I am not sure what the concern is with respect to these type of investments. I appreciate that they exist so I can take a bet that values will fall (inverse funds) and take a leveraged bet so as not to tie up too much of my money with the bet or hedge as the case may be. I believe the disclosures are adequate. I appreciate that you might be well intentioned with this approach, but I wonder how long it will be until you start restricting my ability to drink alcohol or sweet drinks, etc. in an effort to protect me from myself. Regarding having to prove that I have a level of knowledge that you consider appropriate to take these risks, again, I think I have earned the right to make my own investment choices. No one is twisting my arm.
