You can't regulate stupid. Don't fix what isn't broke. Newbies or inexperienced investors will find no better way to learn then to have skin in the game. These funds are complex enough, over-regulation just handicaps the majority in an effort to protect the few too lazy to do their due diligent-es, then cry wolf because they didn't understand.
