Jeremy Jordan Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

America was founded on the idea of personal freedom and choice. Clichéd, yes, but I think true nonetheless. As long as a choice does not negatively affect anyone else, I feel it should be allowed. We're all adults here and can figure out what to do or not do all on our own.

Sure, leveraged anything in the market is much more dangerous to play around with than some white-bread, vanilla ETFs, but once again, freedom. The state doesn't need to protect anyone and if they're dumb enough to blow their accounts up then thats on them. I would not like the government being my nanny and telling me something is too dangerous to do and not allowing me to figure it out on my own. No thanks, let me blow my account up and I'll take full responsibility for it. No hand-holding please.
