I understand the risks of investing in leverage and inverse funds. Regulation has a place to protect investors, but measures like this would put individual investors like myself at a disadvantage. During the financial crisis of 2007-2008 I invested in long leveraged index funds and it has been one of my most successful investment decisions to date. I can say that my financial situation and security would be drastically different if I had been unable to make that investment. Please do not restrict my ability to invest in these securities.
