Myself not regulators should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies. They allow me to protect (hedge) my investments or seek enhanced returns, and I use them as a limited part of my overall portfolio.
The only person that knows best how to invest my money and what to invest it in is me, not some bureaucracy. This type of regulation does not benefit the individual, it only benefits wall street and the big firms that want to control what we invest in.
In these volatile times the use of these investing options is more important than it's ever been. Taking them away and leaving us with fewer and fewer choices to actively manage our IRA's, 401k's leaves us to the mercy of the market and guarantees we lose money.
I am asking you to help the individual and not wall street.
